Pros
Cons
Summary
The nutrition input with macro breakdown and tracking to complement the workout regime and goals is the best I’ve seen in the market. The app is still glitchy in places but is constantly being updated to improve this. It’s still a little hard to navigate the app at first and it currently only caters for muscle gain, strength gain and weight loss, primarily achieved through weight training. A lot of potential for this app and if those goals match yours this app is well worth a try.

Key Features

Pros
Cons
Summary
Freeletics is a top choice if you love HIIT workouts that are personalised and flexible. It has a high price tag but they back it up with a comprehensive fitness and nutrition package based on bodyweight exercises. Not suitable for those looking to make big strength and size gains due to the limiting bodyweight-only movements. It’s easy to use and adapt your workouts, bear in mind the regular updates can be annoying.

- Custom Workouts; AI-driven workouts tailored to individual goals and equipment availability.
Pros
Cons
Summary
Zing AI has a lot of promise and works well at what it does. It’s very detailed and offers a unique body mapping feature at an extra cost.
The downside is it’s not cheap and it only really focuses on weight lifting/muscle gain elements of fitness.
If they reduced the price, included the body mapping as part of the subscription and added other training focus such as running, cycling etc to complement weight lifting, it would score higher in the top 7.
